Who provides the service

HopHop Casa is operated by IngenLogics, Truus van Lierpad, 2331GL Leiden - NL. KvK: 93563450. VAT ID: NL866450993B01. Contact: business@ingenlogics.com.

The service and your account

HopHop Casa provides remote access to your Home Assistant installation through our broker and the client integration. You need a compatible, running Home Assistant instance, internet connectivity and a configured client. Keep your account, email account, tokens and Home Assistant secure; use your own Home Assistant authentication. Give accurate account and billing details. Do not use the service unlawfully, interfere with other users, scan or attack infrastructure, or resell access without agreement.

Price, payment and renewal

The current price is €0.49 per device per month, including applicable VAT. Each device has a separate recurring subscription; the checkout shows the price you agree to pay. Adding a device alone does not start a charge. Payment is processed by Mollie; checkout authorises the initial payment and recurring monthly collection for that device. Different devices may have different renewal dates and invoices. Existing contracted prices are shown in Billing. We will give reasonable prior notice of a proposed price change and a right to cancel before it takes effect; the app does not automatically reprice existing subscriptions.

You can download invoices from Billing and update details for future invoices in Account. Existing issued invoices keep their original accounting details; contact us about corrections or credit notes. Taxes for your circumstances and cross-border business transactions may need a manual accounting review.

Cancellation and removal

You can cancel an individual subscription or all subscriptions in Billing, or remove a device in Devices. Cancellation stops future recurring charges and remote access for the selected devices immediately. No routine automatic prorated refund is provided; statutory withdrawal, remedies for faulty performance and other mandatory consumer rights are unaffected. You can contact business@ingenlogics.com for assistance or an applicable refund. An account deletion request also requires stopping its billing. Required accounting records remain restricted for their statutory retention period.

Consumers: 14-day withdrawal

If you are a consumer, you normally have 14 days from concluding a service contract to withdraw without giving a reason. Checkout expressly asks you to request that service starts during that period. Requesting immediate ongoing service does not by itself waive your withdrawal right. If you withdraw after requesting an early start, you may owe only a proportionate amount for service supplied up to withdrawal where the law permits. We will repay eligible amounts within 14 days of being informed, ordinarily using the original payment method, subject to any lawful proportionate deduction.

Send an unambiguous withdrawal statement to business@ingenlogics.com or our postal address. You may use this form, but it is not mandatory:

To: IngenLogics, Truus van Lierpad, 2331GL Leiden - NL, business@ingenlogics.com
I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for HopHop Casa remote-access service.

Availability, maintenance and fair enforcement

We work to keep the service available, but connectivity depends on your installation, network, providers and maintenance. No specific uptime guarantee is included unless agreed separately. This service is not designed for safety-critical or emergency use. We may restrict access for non-payment, material misuse or a necessary security response, proportionately and with an explanation where lawful. Contact us to challenge a restriction. Administrative suspension alone does not cancel a subscription; recurring billing continues until cancellation, subject to any statutory right to a refund or suspension of payment.

Privacy, responsibility and complaints

The Privacy Notice describes data processing, providers and financial retention. Public HTTPS terminates at the HopHop Casa server; our service policy restricts access to forwarded traffic. Keep independent backups of your Home Assistant configuration. Responsibility and liability are determined by applicable law; nothing here excludes mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Contact business@ingenlogics.com first with any complaint and the relevant account or invoice reference. We aim to acknowledge it promptly and provide a substantive reply within 14 days, or explain when more time is needed. Dutch law applies to the extent permitted; consumers retain mandatory protections and rights to use the competent courts in their country. We do not require arbitration or waive your statutory remedies.

Changes and a copy of these terms

These terms apply from the effective date above. Material service or contract changes will be communicated with reasonable advance notice and any legally required cancellation rights. We keep the version accepted for registration and checkout. Download or save a copy of these terms when you agree to them.
